These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between SmartTag Solutions Limited ("we", "us", "our") and the client ("you", "your", "Client") relating to the provision of our digital documentation platform, QR assets, and associated setup services (the "Services"). By requesting a demo, placing an order, or utilizing our Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
SmartTag Solutions Limited will provide digital access to machine-specific manuals, wiring diagrams, and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) instructions via QR asset tags deployed directly at your machinery casings. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any authorized user credentials provided to your floor technicians or shift teams.
Fees for configuration, digital storage, or platform subscription will be cleanly invoiced as defined in your initial service agreement or project quotation. All invoices issued by SmartTag Solutions Limited must be paid in full within 14 days from the issue date stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to temporarily suspend digital access to machine data points if balances remain un-settled outside of this 14-day payment window.
You possess the right to cancel your service subscription contract, without giving any explicit reason, within a 14-day cooling-off period starting from the date the contract framework is agreed upon or the platform environment is initialised. To activate a cancellation under this provision, you must issue a clear written notification directly to info@smarttag-solutions.co.uk.
If you cancel inside this 14-day window, we will issue a full refund for platform access fees received. However, if you explicitly authorise us to begin technical onboarding or physical QR casing fabrication prior to the end of the 14 days, you will be responsible for standard setup costs relative to work completed up to the date of cancellation.
The Client retains all copyright, structural ownership, and control over all proprietary manuals, diagrams, and internal engineering directives loaded onto the platform environment. SmartTag Solutions Limited maintains explicit ownership and core copyright over the interface architecture, scanning delivery structures, code bases, and visual brand assets utilised to host the service layout.
Our platform functions strictly as an immediate visual directory linking shop floor engineers to existing technical specifications. Accuracy, procedural safety, and compliance validations for all materials uploaded remain the distinct responsibility of the Client. While our tools are designed to slash Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), SmartTag Solutions Limited shall not be held liable for any production stops, operational downtime, or direct commercial losses resulting from platform updates or physical asset damage.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
